My sweet Aaron

I am gonna brag a little bit about how sweet Aaron has been lately! I mean he is pretty amazing all the time but lately he has just been extra sweet. Maybe its all the time he has been away for work or the fact that I am still not working(I have been out of work since feb) but no matter what the reason is for his sweetness I will gladly accept it! I mean don't get me wrong we have our moments where it isn't all rainbows and sunshine but for the most part we get along super great! He cleans up after I cook dinner. He helps with the laundry. He always calls me some super cute pet name and usually pays for everything when we go shopping or out to eat. He even made my best friend feel special today when she came over to hang out after a bad day :) I can't wait till we have a baby one day because I know he will be the best father! He takes such good care of me and I can only imagine that when I get pregnant he will treat me like a princess even more (even though I am sure I will have mood swings from hell) he truly is my best friend and I can act like a complete idiot and it makes him love me that much more! I am truly blessed!!

4th of July

So yesterday was the 4th of July and we spent a part of it at my dads house for a little BBQ. It was just a little get together with my dad, Aarons parents, my Uncle and a couple of my dads friends. It was way too hot to eat outside so we all gathered in the kitchen to enjoy the nice cold AC! We had homemade burgers, potato salad, spinach dip, corn on the cob and yummy cake! It was such a nice day to just be with family and relax! Here are a few pics!

Job Searching

So I have been unemployed since Feb and as much fun as it is to sleep in and do whatever I want I am over not  having an income! Don't get me wrong I have been looking for a job since Feb so don't think I have just been sitting around doing nothing, its just that the job market is so tough right now! There are jobs out there but they are either too far away...don't want to pay enough..scams on craigslist...I mean the list could go on and on. I have been to pretty much every job site there is, I have asked around for leads, I have gone to an employment agency, but still nothing. In the mean time I have had 1 temp job, done some babysitting for a friend, helped out my dad and I am so grateful for Aaron for paying for mostly everything except bills! I recently got a lead from a friend and I will find out Tuesday if that's going to work out, but in the meantime I just have to keep my head up and know that something will eventually come around...I just hope my bank account doesn't run out before something comes around.

Graduation

So again I have forgotten to blog! I swear I was going to be better about keeping up with this but I have failed. So much has happened since I last blogged but I don't have time to catch up writing about everything. The most important thing that has happened is that I have finally graduated with my Associates Degree! It was a long road but I finally did it! I got to walk and everything. My dad and Aaron were there to watch me walk and I know my mom was looking down on me with a big smile! I still have a long road of schooling ahead of me but I finally have something to show for my hard work and dedication and I am so proud of myself for sticking to it!

It's Christmas Time!!

So its the first week of  December and my favorite time of year!!! Christmas!! I decorated the apartment this week and I love it! I am going to add a few more decorations this week when Aaron is out of town for work though! Today we went and picked out our annual Christmas tree! We have a fake one because the cats eat the needles and it makes them sick, but for as long as I can remember we, as a family have gone to a christmas tree farm to pick out our tree. This year we got to go with my dads awesome girlfriend Joel and it was so much fun! We all wore Santa hats..although Aaron and Joel both could have done without the hats (it was actually Joel's first time wearing a Santa hat) We walked through the rows and rows of trees untill we found the perfect one! Joel actually picked it out! I can't wait to pick it up next weekend with my dad! I smelt like pine all day! It was amazing!  Today was especially awesome because we went shopping and I was overhearing a mom talking to her little girl about me...here is the way the conversation went. Child-"do you think she works for Santa?" Mom-"I am sure she does" The mom then askes me if I work for Santa and in the process winks so I make sure to answer the right way...I say" I sure do work for Santa, I then ask the little girl if she has been good this year...she nods and I say " I will make sure I let Santa know". It was just so cute! It made my day!! Then later that night we went to go watch the tree lighting ceremony in downtown Anaheim and again I wore my Santa Hat. A little boy saw me and said "Look its Santa", while pointing to me...I almost died..it was sooo cute! It made my day to bring a smile to the faces of these kids today!

I always forget to blog!!

Soooo much has happened since I last blogged! Jaxson Ika Koa Callis was born on September 18th!! Which just happens to be our 1 yr anniversary so I will never forget his bday! He is so adorable and we love him sooo much!!

 My brother and Brady also came to visit in September and we had such a fantastic time! I really wish they didn't live so far away but my brother just bought a house(with a little help from our pop) so I am pretty sure he is there to stay, but I am so happy for him and Brady! When my brother was here we went fishing, to the park, to Disneyland, to an Angels game, swimming, had Brady over for a sleepover, took him to Aarons soccer game and got lots of kisses and cuddles in! October came and we went to dland to celebrate what would have been my moms 60th bday! Me and Aaron gor Premium passes and we are so excited to be able to go everyday if we want to! Carlie and Henry were able to join us and we all had a great time!! Me and Aaron also went to dland on my moms 6 year anniversary too and we had so much fun going on tower of terror! November was Carlie and Marks wedding and I had the honor of being part of the wedding party and doing the flowers for the wedding. It was such a fun day and I am so glad I got to be a part of it! The other thing that is exciting right now is that the end of the semester is less than a week away!! I can't wait to have a month and a half off!! Woo HOO!!

Jaxson is coming!!!

So my best friend called me tonight at around 8 to tell me she was on her way to the hospital to have Jaxson!! I am overly excited right now I doubt I will be able to sleep. Not only is it exciting that she is having her 2nd baby, but he will actually be here on his due date which also happens to be the date of our anniversary! It will make our day even more exciting and mean so much more! Cj is my very best friend in the entire world and she is not only a great friend but a wonderfully mommy..Jaxson is lucky to be welcomed into this world by her and Nathan as well. Madi will be a wonderful big sister and I get to be an auntie again! Pics will be posted once he is here! WOO HOO!!

It's time to get skinny!!

So I have begun a transformation of my body. I am onlyh on day 2 and I am hating every part of it, but I know it will be worth it. When I weighed myself on Tuesday I weighed in at almost 170 lbs. I have never in my life weighed this much or felt this out of shape. I can't fit into any of my jeans and everytime I put something on I just feel gross. I realized it was time to make a change so for the whole month of August I ate everything and anything I wanted so that when I started my diet I wouldn't miss food as much! I am doing a diet that my best friend had tons of succes with called the Lindora diet. Its basically a low carb diet-under 60 grams a day. Pretty much I am not eating bread, pasta, pizza, popcorn..pretty much everything I love! I am also doing a diet called the 30 day shred.

Its basically a circut training video that you do everyday for 20 mins. Its such a hard workout and every muscle in my body hates me, but I just need to keep reminding myself that I am doing this to become healthier and live longer. I am hoping that in the next 30 days I will see and feel a difference. I wont be posting any before pictures until I get to a good after result.

End of Summer

So school has been in session for a few weeks..work is stressfeul but at least I have a job and Aaron and I are about to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. We technically started dating right after our reunion which was August 29-but our official anniversary is September 18th.

We have had a really fun summer. We have hung out a lot with the Callis fam and I just have to say that we are very lucky to have such wonderful best friends! They are always there for us when we need them and we hope we are there for them as well whenever they need us!
We took a mini vacation to Palm Springs for a weekend and it really did wonders for our relationship! We had such a wonderful time and I was so grateful that we were able to get such a great deal on a hotel so that we could actually afford to go away.

School is in session again and I am about 3 weeks into the semester and hating it already. I am determined to get my AA so although I loathe going to school, I do it because I know I can and because I want to make my dad proud...and my mom. I should graduate in May and I couldn't be more excited!
September should be an amazing month because Jax will be born..my bro and Brady will be here to visit and I get to celebrate a year of love with the man of my dreams!! Overall I say it will be one of the best months of the year!!
